By using Procago services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
1. Service Description
Procago provides logistics and courier services including pickup, transport, customs clearance, and delivery of packages domestically and internationally. We act as a freight forwarder and logistics intermediary, utilizing third-party carrier networks.
2. Prohibited Items
You must not ship any of the following prohibited items:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and narcotics.
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, and explosives.
- Counterfeit or pirated goods.
- Human remains or live animals (without prior special arrangement).
- Hazardous materials not declared and approved in advance.
- Perishable goods without temperature-controlled service selection.
- Items prohibited by the laws of the origin or destination country.
3. Liability Limitations
Our liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited as follows:
- Uninsured shipments: maximum liability of USD $100 per package.
- Insured shipments: up to the declared value, subject to the terms of the cargo insurance policy.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from delivery delays.
- Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery (damage) or 30 days from booking (non-delivery).
4. Customs & Duties
The shipper is responsible for providing accurate and complete customs documentation. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees at the destination are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed. We are not liable for delays caused by customs authorities.
5. Payment Terms
All fees are due at the time of booking unless a credit account has been established. We reserve the right to hold shipments until outstanding balances are resolved. Prices are subject to change; the rate confirmed at booking applies.
Shipping Policy
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless the "Express Guaranteed" service is selected. Delays caused by customs clearance, weather events, force majeure, or recipient unavailability are excluded from delivery guarantees.
Packaging Requirements
Packages must be appropriately packed for transit. We recommend double-walled boxes for heavy items and bubble wrap for fragile goods. Procago is not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging.
Address Accuracy
Shippers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses. Additional charges may apply for address corrections. Packages with undeliverable addresses will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense after two delivery attempts.
Refunds & Claims Policy
Cancellations
Shipments may be cancelled for a full refund before pickup has occurred. Once a package is in transit, cancellations are not possible. Partially completed routes may receive a partial refund at our discretion.
Damage Claims
Damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Submit photographic evidence and the original packaging to our claims team. Approved claims are processed within 10 business days. For insured shipments, the full declared value is reimbursed. For uninsured shipments, our standard carrier liability applies.
Lost Shipment Claims
A shipment is declared lost if tracking shows no movement for 10+ business days after the estimated delivery date. Claims must be filed within 30 days. We will conduct a full trace investigation. Confirmed lost shipments are reimbursed within 15 business days.
